The Sims 3

My dad preordered The Sims 3 for me the other day and frankly, I'm not sure if I really want it... I'm going to at least try it though since it cost him $65.
The thing is, the things I don't like about what I've seen from the game seem to overpower the things I do like.

Likes:

• The graphics for objects and scenery looks amazing.
• You can follow your sims

My list of dislikes outweighs my likes for the game too. I definitely don't want everyone aging together and living out major events without any help from it. That makes it turn into more of me sitting back and watching an animated movie, rather than playing a game. Although I have read you can turn this off, which makes the game sound a little better.

I may give it a try sometime down the line when there's an EP or two, but for now, TS2 is way more fun than TS3 sounds. Plus I don't know if my current computer will run it, since I think the requirements for Vista are higher. Oh well.

I am looking forward to getting it, but I just hope that it actually installs on my computer. If not, that means that I need to get a new computer, which I would be fine with! LOL. I need a new computer so bad!
