So I was driving along when I see something moving in the middle of the road. So I swerved and turned around to rescue it from its own ignorance. It was a turtle! Pardon me it was a tortoise. I guess there's a difference. Isn't that random? We now have a class pet! Name is pending.

yesyes! we had parking lot turtles all the time at my camp this summer. there were definately some rescues, very dramatic. they're damn cute too.

my sister once had a tortise that "ran away" in our back yard, and one time when we were cleaning out the side yard years later, we found it... or at least it's skeleton-shell combo. glad you saved this one. see you in 7 minutes.
