[the sphere is moving down the hall with Oliver, following him as he avoids broken chunks of wall and a variety of holes, making liberal use of the Doctor's shoe inserts so he can walk on the walls as needed] Okay, so he wasn't in that room,

[he stares, unable to speak as his companion's transmission ends abruptly. he's horrified that such a thing was in his room, of all places, and even more so because he'd just seen Oliver sucked into the blackness--and there's nothing he can do.]

Oh Ollie... I told you to be careful...

[slumping against the back of the pilot's chair in the shuttle, he tries to tell himself that perhaps the 24 hour reset will work again. his friend came back to him once, he can do it again. on an instinctual level, however, he can't bring himself to fully believe it.

the only thing he can hope for is for the large black hole in the sky to consume the planet and perhaps everything will go back to the beginning again. but he knows he can't just wait for the inevitable; he has to do something to help some of the people get off the planet.

but right now, he just feels tired.]
