[he couldn't help laughing happily seeing her face again and grinned back at the image as she spoke. but the longer she spoke, the more that smile became twinged with sadness until it finally disappeared all together. he knew it was childish and ridiculous to avoid her like that, but he knew it really was for the best, especially if they didn't want something to happen between them that they'd both regret in the morning.]
