Halfway through dinner with the Possums tonight, I unexpectedly shifted into sleep-deprived-Olivia mode. After about a year and a half of being lactose intolerant, it doesn't really bother me anymore when other people can eat dairy and I can't, since I've completely cut it out of my diet and it's gotten to the point where I no longer have a taste for it. I keep going to bed earlier and earlier each night. First midnight, then 11:30, and now it looks like I could be in bed as early as 11 tonight. I feel... relieved, I guess that's the word I'm looking for. Midterms are right around the corner, but even so, I just don't feel nearly as stressed out as so many other people around me right now. I think I made the right choice by deciding to stay in Chicago for another week after being done with finals. Since classes were over, I actually got to spend quality time with friends and not have to worry about structuring everything around my studying schedule.
