I'm going to throw Noey a dino party too in Oct! Actually he wanted a "dinosaurs in cars on space" party -- 3 of his favourite things right now. I'm still thinking whether it's possible to work in elements of that, but have decided it'll primarily be dinosaurs cos it's easier to find dino stuff.
I planned to make the dinosaur crayons for favours! Hoping it really will be as easy as the tutorials suggest. I found a few recipes that suggested melting the crayons over the stove instead of in the oven and it's my preferred choice. Maybe you could try that. Put the crayons in tin cans immersed in boiling water.
Oh, and I bought Toobs from MothersWork, and also from a toy shop in Tanglin Mall (the one that sells quite a lot of Lego).
Love love love all your ideas! It was such a lovely party and you're such a sewing genius!
FWAH, Dinosaurs in Cars on Space! That's a tall order!
There are lots of good ideas out for dino parties on the internet.
I can lend u our tails (I have only 2 now) or make a few more - and lend u our inflatable Brontosaurus if you want! I found my dino mold (actually for chocolates) at Phoon Huat. You can also find cheap dino stickers and origami paper at Daiso and some dino stuff (lantern/glow-in-the-dark paste-its) from Cotton On Kids.
I also contemplated giving dino books (eg. Harry and the Bucketful of Dinosaurs) to the kids as well :)
Wish I had asked earlier about where to find Toobs!!!

Incidentally, you can find Toobs at Isetan's toy departments (pretty large selection) and a kid's store at Holland V Shopping Centre.

I've a phobia of putting crayons and other non-food items into the oven. My paranoid mind goes into overdrive on what fumes they'd be letting out...
Ps: sticking dino printouts on the notepad would have worked?

Hehe, wish I had thought about just pasting a dino pic on the notepads! Much easier than what I had in mind!
