Recently, the nice folks from Tiny Pants contacted me and asked if I'd like to try this new product called Sleepy Wings that they carry in their online store.

this looks good! a good alternative to the swaddling. i could only use the swaddle on thaddeus at night in the early days cos it's too warm to be used in the day.

Yes, same here! But my kids startle very easily when not swaddled - so these Wings are a nice alternative for daytime use for us :)

Yeah he is more sturdy and definitely looking more like a baby (instead of a wrinkly old man) now ;)

The sleepy wings are so popular here! Lots of my friends here use it especially in our scorching summer!

As for swaddling, the one thing that I LOVED was the ErgoPouch (check that one out if you haven't). They have a really thin cotton one which makes it great for summer, and a thicker one for (not really) winter. I got so fed up of waking up JUST to reswaddle Matthias and the ErgoPouch worked wonders.

Ryan is incredibly cute (love his kungfu sleeping position). I can't wait to meet him in person one day!

We're hoping to be back for Christmas but that's still up in the air (tix are ridiculously expensive!). Haven't been updating LJ much but I do keep a blog for Matty over at http://diaperlogues.wordpress.com so drop in there!! My LJ is more for myself but I hardly ever get the chance to write anything down these days...hopefully it'll all change sooner rather than later!
