Yeah I would have never embarked on such an ambitious project for no reason. The baby just gave me that little push - wish me luck (I've never made one before!) ;)

i thought you weren't serious about the quilt but reading about what your mum made for you and your siblings, and think it's a wonderful tradition to upkeep! and with your mum such a good seamstress, you know just who you can turn to if you run into any issues wth your quilt!
