I've been meaning to write about all the good and bad that France (and Switzerland) has to offer. I figure now's as good a time as any.

The Good:

  1. All the toilets have 2 flush buttons/triggers on them. One for big flushes. One for little ones. Why don't we have those?
  2. In Switzerland at least, they even have toilet handles on the floor to just ( Read more... )

phil says "tell JJ that we miss him." i concur! he adds that he needs you around so you can give him programming advice <3

why is there nothing to do there? i thought they had intramural sports? maybe i have false memory syndrome.

it makes me sad that you are bored and lonely.

*hug* Poor lonely JJ! The good stuff sounds pretty cool though. I wish I'd have some free time from work to come visit and keep you company. For the forseeable future I don't, though.. can't get any time off for a long while. Maybe I can convince Jameel to come visit without me?

You know, that's not a terrible idea.
I'm a big fan of using vacation time (since otherwise I'll lose it.)

When should I come? Can I get there (part way?) on the TGV? ;)

14) Should I bring gym clothes? Any chance we could play?

11) This would suck wherever you were.

It was so good that you could come and visit.
Please don't look at it as 25% down, but 75% more to experience and learn new things.
Miss you!

75% more to experience with your wife and puppy.
It's not true. You could take a trip to another country.
You could read up on how to garden for when you get back.
You could practice how to crochet. You could make Zoe the cutest little booties.
You could take up a new sport.
You could learn a musical instrument (other than kazoo.)
You could learn how to reupholster furniture. You could learn how to make furniture.
You could make a movie about how bored you are.
You cold make up a song about how bored you are.
You could write love poems for Donna.
You could learn how to make bread. I've heard you make a killer fettucini alfredo, too! ;)
You just need to want to not be bored.
If you're really out of things to do - have a kid. Trust me, you'll have no further free time. ;)
