Tag, I'm it?

OK, I have been hit with this very same tag a couple of times before, but each time I was offshore and didn't play along. Mostly because where I have access to the internet is in the instrument room and all of the books are technical, hardware manuals, software documentation and geophysical text books, so I figured nobody would be interested in me ( Read more... )

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Oh. I'm sorry. DId you say something?

*giggles helplessly*

You poor, poor man. I think that is one of THe most boring books that I've ever had the displeasure of reading an excerpt out of.

*thinks that I need to send you something hot and steamy to read*

Just kidding. Your Wife would murderize my body and I can't take a chance on that. I need my body too much for murderization.

*grin*

I suppose I should have gone up stairs to my cabin and grabbed either the book I brought with me from home, at least it is interesting, it is Lynsay Sands' "Accidental Vampire" which has some steaminess to it. Or even grabbed the copy of "Penthouse Letters IX" guaranteed to be hot and steamy. Alas I followed the rules and got the nearest book.

Sorry to put you to sleep there.

There are definitely more interesting and fun things to do with your body than have it murderized.

*perk*

You know, as soon as my eyes saw "Penthouse Letters IX" I kinda glossed over everything else that you said in your response to me.

Hmmm.

*wonders if I climb in your lap if you'll read me a naughty bedtime story*

Pretty Please? I can beg if I have to. I don't like to beg. But, I will.

*lascivious grin*

And here I thought you boys who were adrift and out to sea had no naughty reading materials with you. I should have known better. But, I am but a lowly little naive, innocent country girl after all. I didn't know any better.

*innocent smile*

That was remarkably unintelligible. That was a book ... to read ... for some actual purpose? Hmmmm, I guess I'll believe you on that.

Alas, the only books I have near me are my H's law books, which I assume would be equally as awful ... not that I plan to check.

I'll tell you what. I'll just admit that you are the winner in this round of tag!

Anyone for a rousing game of freeze tag?

What?

I have little kids.

I'll have to admit, that even I found that excerpt to be unintelligible without looking into more of the text so I could get it into context.

I don't actually *read* that book, but have been known to use it as reference material when I am trying to write a script to get around some of the inadequacies of our data processing software. Usually such scripts that I write are more for managing data than actually processing it.

Online freeze tag might not work out very well, how does one freeze while typing before they can submit the post? I know there I go being all logical and stuff again. *grin*
