wherever on earth had you disappeared to, mannnn? it felt like our collective conscience was missing at LJ. no, i'm not pulling your leg :-)! is card still in office? that should explain the award of the degree.

Have been absolutely completely swamped at work, so it's been nose to the lab bench-stone.. :-(

Oh no no please, am no mirror of anyone's conscience, just irked at the state of the world..

Card, no the bugger is not in office anymore - but, apparently he sactioned some money to UMass in his days as a Massachusetts lawmaker (about 10-15 yrs back). That, and he's golf-buddies with the Chair of Trustees, who says " I like Andy, I play golf with him".. (*eye roll*)

Well, so glad to see you are alive and kicking, was beginning to have doubts that you had joined the fruit flies!

That first photograph is excellent by itself, apart from the content....very dramatic.
