Unfortunately not.. War really fucks with the mind, but then how the Oval Office cowboy know? He was too busy flying "dangerous planes" over Texas, while compatriots were stuck in the quagmire of Vietnam..

You're so right. Things which seem perfectly commonplace to those people at that time in that place would seem completely inhuman to us here, safely ensconsed in our nice homes and passing judgement while sipping our nice hot cups of tea.
All that death and violence is bound to release the evil, twisted side to every human.

I wish we could rewire our brains in some way- to realise that patriotism or heroism or whatever shitty reason that wars are usually fought for, are really not worth it in the end.
