Saw the Manchurian Candidate recently - really liked it.. Interesting movie, good actors - classy Denzel, delightfully evil Meryl Streep, and Liev Schrieber (who I've never heard of before, but - he's awesome in this movie). The original with Frank Sinatra has garnered rave reviews, should try and get a hold of it sometime.. The 2004 movie is laced

Didnt we speak about this ? V and I thought it was funny - but it didnt add to anything serious. If it was meant seriously then it has done more harm than good. Iraquis happy and singing before Bush went in ?? Now where was the need for that kinda thing .....

It was really funny in parts - esp. the shots of Dubya twitching before his speech on tv.. Everyone was laughing in the theatre - healthy communal loathing, if there is such an animal ;) Don't think Michael Moore intended the entire movie to be a spoof though - there too much senti stuff in the movie for a spoof - what say? He's been touring the country as well zealously campaigning against Dubya, even inviting him to a showing of Fahrenheit 9/11 in Crawford, Texas!

I'm yet to watch Casablanca and have heard mouthfuls about the movie. Inigrid Bergman needs no introduction, however. For the record, I liked the actress in Hitchcock's Rear Window as well. I dont remember her name. However, I remember falling head over heels in love with that pretty face.

All the mouthfuls don't do it justice.. Ok, enough said, too much hype is a bad thing - do watch it sometime.. I haven't seen Rear Window, have heard mouthfuls about it as well.. Let's do a swap sometime.. IMDB tells me the pretty face belongs to the oh-so-graceful Princess Grace of Monaco.. *sigh*
