Indeed, it's not a very Duckyish word and was chosen deliberately, because of it's power and as it's not usually him for him to use it (hopefully) increased it's depth - nothing else seemed remotely appropriate as to how he was feeling.

I'm glad Ducky is standing up for himself. I hate to think of him as a doormat.

I tend to hide most (er, pretty much all) of the time. Not that I'm on that much, but you could always nudge me. I was on yesterday, but unless you too were hiding, you weren't.

I would never call Ducky a doormat, it'd never occur to me. What he does works for him, and that is all that matters (to my mind).
