Thank you for the submitted prompts for our thirty-fourth promptathon. Sadly, yet again we had very few indeed. I have added a handful of fandom/pairing free prompts, but the list of prompts is very short

I didn't contribute any prompts this time because I am still involved with writing the fic inspired by the summer O_N_D promptathon and intended for the upcoming Fraser/RayK anthology zine Body Heat ...and I was trying to stay away from the temptation of yet more O_N_D...and now there's a Fraser/RayK prompt here beckoning me.
This comm is one of the two most inspiring writing-challenge comms -- and THE most inspiring multifandom writing-challenge comm -- of all such comms in which I have participated. Both this one and the other one (a due South snippets comm) have been attracting less and less participation in recent years. I wonder if the era of challenge-style writing is passing away in the face of fandom's fracturing into so many different social media platforms.
Apologies for the late reply, as I said I didn't get a notification there was a comment.
I can understand your logic, I really can. And as I said elsewhere when you mentioned the zine, I'm really delighted you are going to be published in in. I've worked with Bast many times in quite a lot of zines.
I know you have always been a great supporter of this comm with providing prompts and writing stories and I always appreciate it.
I fear you may be correct when you say the era of challenge-style writing is passing away :-( It's a real shame. Anyway, I still haven't made a final decision. But even if I do decide not to go with any new challenges, I won't be deleting the comm, so past prompts will always be available.
Finished the fic and posted it to AO3 during my dinner-break at work. Will come back here to post the details and the AO3 link when I get home from work (near midnight or slightly after, Chicago time). I just want to be sure you'll be counting it as a November promptathon fic because that's how I've already described it on AO3.
I think LJ must know I'm considering quitting doing regular promptathons as it again didn't send me a message. Nor did it send me your PM which I've just seen.
I, like others, keep going through phases where LJ insists on me revalidating my email address and I guess during one of those phases when it didn't send emails yours fell through the crack so to speak.
So belatedly of course it will count for November.

Anyways, I am writing a fic for this November Promptathon. *glances at calendar and at nearness of month-end*
ETA: Oops. I meant "were you UNscreening" (or continuing to leave comments screened).

I shall go and have a look.
Good luck with the story.
