He spotted the other boy, who looked comfortably engaged in his book and grinned. He sidled over, and peered at the boy's reading material. Comics inside a textbook, how original. He snorted lightly.
Moving to one side, he slumped into the chair beside the boy and grinned, awaiting a reaction.

When the young man sat down, however, he allowed himself to look up, glancing over the top of his books. "Can I help you?" He asked, an eyebrow raised at the boy's rediculous grin.

"I'm Turlough. I've seen you about, haven't I? Going back and forth between St T's and St C's. I expect you're a new kid too?" He looked the boy up and down, sizing him up. "You're probably in my year too, aren't you? Lower Sixth."
Turlough wondered if he'd get any response out of the boy at all, or if his teasing had been too much. He wasn't too bothered (at least not outwardly bothered) after all, there were plenty of other pupils at these schools. Still he was new to the place himself, and didn't really know anyone yet.
His look was one of repentance, but it seemed a trifle insincere.

"Have you a free period between lessons?" He asked, closing his book. He doubt the presence of this red-head would allow him anymore time to himself, and there was only a few minutes left until next period as it was.
