I noticed the flurry of activity - he'd better not stay up all night and neglect his duties tomorrow. And what is the deal with Richard? I'm concerned.

I'm not sure, but I *think* his days start late and end late. He said he was still asleep when the 9/11 attacks happened, for instance. Also, he has restless legs syndrome, which causes insomnia, as well. :-(

As far as Richard Wolffe goes...he's on probation for now. Though Keith did ask the Kossacks for their opinion. To quote:

"I am up late contemplating this, without having had any conversation with him, or with my exec (she's out of the office) - is disassociating himself from this firm sufficient?

Is this a rehabilitation issue, or a baya issue?

And no, I know better than to post a poll. It'll be my call, I just want soundings.

Thanks."

So it does sound as if he wants to resolve the issue fairly. Personally, I think it'd be better just to cut all ties with Richard Wolffe, to keep Countdown's credibility intact. Just my opinion....

Yeah, I weighed in. Whatever he decides, I hope he does not decide out of anger, but out of the interest of the show.

He's got the blogging bug, you can't ignore it! It had been a while since his last update and after 2 weeks of nothing but baseball and holidaying, he obviously had a lot to say!

I also think what made him really talkative was the fact that he was royally pissed off about that NY Times story. It came out on Saturday--can you imagine how he was damned near bursting, having to wait until Monday to respond to it? That stupid "story" nearly drove me nuts, and I'm not even personally involved! *glares angrily*

I must admit I sighed with relief watching WPITW and Keith doing a bit of Fox bashing, he would never agree to soften up to Fox, that would be a kick in the nuts to his integrity. I'm listening to his Special Comment now - you fucking take them down Keith!

Up to this point, I thought Ed Schultz was doing the best job of hammering on the health care issue. Love ya, Big Eddie, but the master has once again proven why he gets the big bucks at MSNBC. ^_^

I watched Countdown 4 times last night. 5, 7, 10, and 1 in the morning. It was awesome every time. I'm pretty sure Keith was as stoked on last night's Countdown as we were.

People on the DailyKos are telling him to sleep, please do Keith. I really don't want to have to watch David Shuster or Richard Wolffe again (although he might not be coming back).

I was watching the special comment and ended up doing some air punching and cries of "You fucking give it Keith!" Luckily the room was empty at the time so I didn't have to explain the ins and outs of why I was cheering. It was such a great return to Countdown - owning of the liars, Fox mocking, Beck being ripped mercilessly, Sanders as a guest (he's one of my favourite senators), the list goes on!

Isn't Bernie Sanders the best? I was ecstatic about him being on Countdown. Pretty much every minute of Countdown was glorious last night. I screamed when Bill O became a Worst Person again. Keith was kicking ass and taking names with the Special Comment.

True, he's the kickass senator who doesn't take crap. I also have a soft spot for Barney Frank, he's blunt and pisses off Bill-O all the time! Merciless Keith is never a bad thing.
