Phew! All of a sudden the weather got good and there were 101 things to do.
I had to play hooky from work today to catch up on sleep and other responsibilities.

It was pretty wild to walk into a bar and find that! I didn't play but a lot of people did and they were getting really into it. It seems like the perfect speed for a bar game but as we all know, once people get drunk and belligerent any game can get rowdy!

HA! She was my least favorite because she was dressed so ramshackle. I kept coming up with Spice Girl names for her. Grad Student Spice, Riot Grrl Spice, Didn't Get The Memo Spice, Woman On the Verge of A Nervous Breakdown Spice.

ha ha. i'm pretty good at grabbing my camera when the interesting stuff happens.

the pipettes were alright but i wouldn't urge anyone to hurry out and go see them. cute girls, seem like they might be fun to hang out with, but in no way a must-see. even as 60s throwback girl groups go. there's group from brooklyn called dansettes who i think are way more genius.

That bar you went to is a few blocks from my new apartment. They have a secret drink there where you can basically get three drinks for the price of one if you know how to order right.
