The more time I spend on the internet the more I am surprised by people. I really don't understand the folks in a certain satirical community. There is a line over which you do not cross with regards to fandom and real life. Why do you constantly wish to cross this line? Especially in this fandom. Maybe they're all a bunch of twelve year olds. It

Somebody posted on uk_lolitics that somebody had tweeted a link to Sally Bercow (the Speaker's wife) about the loliticssecrets where there were probably secrets about her or her hubby. The most recent secrets have now been deleted. The major problem was this comm had links to all the other fandom comms including the kink-meme. Those have now been removed but who knows if anyone found them.

Also the person who posted the links to twitter conversation kept saying it was cool and Sally Bercow was BAMF and wouldn't care. Then deleted her post when nobody agreed with her. If you went to twitter and read the journals of these people you could see that they didn't see what the problem was and were even talking about what fiction (PM/DPM) they should send to her.

Call me hopelessly old-fashioned, but I like the fourth wall firmly intact.

I wouldn't be too surprised if there's at least one reasonably famous footballer somewhere reading my stuff,that's just the law of averages, but let's agree I don't bother any of them with my silly hobby, and they don't go around telling about "you don't believe the stuff that's written about me" Much better for everyone. Honest.

The fourth wall is very good. Especially if you are dabbling in a political fandom. You never know who might be watching there.

It seems to me that some sort of human decency should be enough. If you need the threat of law to keep your kinky little fantasies somewhat discrete, you're either a very stupid teenager or your feeling of empathy is severely lacking.

And of course there's always someone watching. If not them, then a member of their family, friends, colleagues.
It's all a delicate balance.
