Has no one recognised that under PR we would now have 12 BNP MP's, true democracy but surely not a result those advocating PR would desire! Or would their votes not count?

See this is the reason I like FPTP. I can't think of anything more awful than us having more BNP in the inner workings of government.

I agree. I also think that with PR, the percentage of the vote for the BNP could get larger if people don't think it's a waste of a vote.
