Owl gets high in a Christmas Tree? News Inside

I say the family was getting high every day and passed it onto the Owl. I doubt the scent would stay around that long AND penetrate the inner areas of the tree to leave a scent on the bird.

If the owl was able to get contact high, wouldn't the animal control people have smelled it the instant they walked into the house?
