I think Octopus in Tagalog is pusit. The last syllable is stressed.

Actually, "der Tintenfisch" refers to when an octopus is spraying ink out, while "der Krake" refers to the big species of octopus. If you want to say octopus in German, "oktopus" with the same pronounciation. Wheee. . .
