Ground clearance came up in one of the chapters I just posted today in my journal. I've had these specs for nearly a year, having researched them for an abandoned storyline. Carfolio I discovered seems to have all the specs except ground clearance listed consistently. That item seems to be a hit or miss category.
This was the closest easily located information on Jazz's alt mode at the time, but I have always taken it as implied that he is a "modified racer model" and they are notoriously lower to the ground than street models. (It’s a wind, fuel, speed thing)
I actually got 6.3 inches ground clearance on Prowl's fairlady alt mode from a collector's personal website. I can't find the site now, but he had a pretty nice site at the time. Took a bit of hunting to find it back then even. (“Love a Fairlady”, or something like that). Seeing as how carfolio didn't have ground clearance listed for his model either.
That's actually what prompted me to do this. I was flailing over the specifics you'd given and was all 'WHERE DID SHE FIND THIS????????'. So, I went hunting.
I wasn't really paying attention to what Carfolio offered in terms of specs, I was just pasting links. (Bad Okami).
Another spec they don't have consistently is fuel capacity, which I gnaw at them for, as it's one of the specs I wanted! (Bad Carfolio!)
I want to do something more... comprehensive? then just posting links. Especially since the specs are not all there. And there's always the chance the website might go under for whatever reason.
Trust me, you weren't the only one lost in this regards.
He's definitely a 935 Turbo! But they didn't have a listing for that. (*flails!* *rage*)Looking at the wikipedia page again, I think it might be because the 935 is strictly a racing vehicle. The website only deals with consumer versions.
The Porsche 935 was introduced in 1976, as the racing version of the Porsche 930 (911 Turbo)
I probably could have chosen the year before (if they had a Turbo listing for 76).
I was even more disappointed with the website to find they don't have any Vans (Ratchet!! *cries*), or at least not the one I wanted. ^^;

And your right about keeping the info handy.
