That is beautiful. I don't think Jarvis's face is too girlish. I picture him as being a bishonen: a beautiful man with a sexy and seductive voice. In fact, you've given me a bunny. If Stark designed him, why wouldn't he have slightly feminine attributes?
Ah, I definitely see him as a bishonen as well. There was just something wrong with the picture that I couldn't quite put my finger on. I noticed it now in the daylight: when I was putting on textures I accidentally smoothed and lightened some lines of Jarvis's face, which made it look smoother and more oval, when I was aiming more for a bit more angular look. I uploaded the newer version now (keeping a link to the old one). The lines aren't as smooth, but I think it keeps Jarvis more in character. The older version made him look a bit meek, while I was going for apologetic, but defiant.

*pets the bunny* Ha, ha. I think Jarvis does have some feminine attributes - he's the worrying mother hen in the movie, he's in charge of making the armour look pretty (i.e. designing the color scheme) and on a few occasions Tony addresses him as if Jarvis was his wife
( ... )
Gorgeous! I love their expressions! Especially how Jarvis looks apologetic, and Tony is waving the screwdriver at him as if "I told you not to do that." Or something... I just really love this concept. ♥
Thank you! &hearts I find drawing scenes amusing, because the characters I draw usually have their own mind about what they are supposed to be doing. I had initially wanted to draw Tony & Jarvis bowed over the mechanical arm, looking contemplative. Next thing I know, Tony is waving the screwdriver and Jarvis is like "Yes, I'm so terribly sorry. But considering the fact that human limbs are significantly more difficult to re-attach than mechanical ones, I'd feel rather inclined to blow myself up again should a similar opportunity arise. Sir." Not even fictional characters listen to me anymore. XD
Thank you so much for the comment! (I'm not 1/100 as good as you! I'm in awe of your linearts and anatomy... Right now I so fail at commenting properly, but I lurk and will definitely go on commenting spree as soon as my MA supervisor isn't breathing down my neck! &hearts )
