I love this post! It would be so interesting to read about in a fic. But yeah, I think you're probably right - most fans might not want that out of their fic. tbh when I go fic-hunting it's usually for a certain character or pairing, not the overall theme or feel of the story (and it's much harder to search for things like that - though I wish it weren't).
