Actually, running is proving to be a rather affective anti-depressant, so no, your positive attitude is not making me sick, in fact I think I now understand why everyone that I know on the crosscountry team seems upbeat most of the time (doesn't/didn't dustin thompson run? I can't remember. but he even started to seem more upbeat than he was before). Hey, I could go into medicine and write my dissertation on how the rise of obesity and depression are related (as well as the coordinated rise and fall of smoking and literacy). I really think doctors need to despecialize somewhat and focus more on holistic medicine. :) (I've used more smileys in the past two weeks than in the year prior

it's quite alright, i love parenthesis. and what you said about running and happiness certainly seems accurate- the only time i have ever felt anywhere close to depressed was when i couldn't run.
i have asthma too, although it sounds as if yours is considerably worse than mine.

I don't know if my asthma is worse, but it is exercise induced. So I don't know about yours, but I know that if I run hard enough, long enough, even with my inhaler, I will have an attack, every time. It's certain, predetermined and unfortunate. However, the more I run, the longer it takes to set in.
