its hard to feel anything sometimes, especially working in a mall with extended hours where christmas music repeats and you can't walk without ten people brushing your shoulders

Do good photographers ever come out of that though? I'm sure a few do, but I think most of the time its people who really work for it that are the best in the industry and not those who are given a free ride, by as you say their parents buying everything for them.
