Oh wow, I'm sorry about your mom. I'm glad you were able to go home and spend one more night with B. I would feel totally uncomfortable and anxious in that situation of staying with a step where there is mutual not much caring too.

It sucks, but ultimately it's a good thing because she'll be pain free, will probably get taller, and won't have hand tremors anymore. 🙂
