Previously: Mars and Galahad went to China to bond and become manly. Kristi died, but a flower saved her already long life. Harmony and Mars got married after the birth of their baby boy. Liberty gave birth to Fern, the first child of generation 6.
Standing on opposite ends of the bed with that special look in the eye. You know what was about to happen.
Galahad: "If you are ready, I am ready."
Liberty: "I am if you are."
Honestly, they liked to woo-hoo all the time. They were like rabbits.
Here I have a very sad announcement to make. Kristi has ... became invisible. You can see her here as the plumbbob thinking thoughts from the ground. In mirror/dresser mode she is completely invisible and when you edit her in CAS with the Super Computer her basics menu is completely gone. Every time I loaded the game, she vanished from the family but is still there when you go to edit town. I'd split the household then put her back and she'd show up again. But then she got something further wrong with her and she made my game crash as soon as it loaded the family, so she had to be killed. :( I truly wanted her to live forever.
Even when people think about her, they can't see her. I think it makes the entire thing much more tragic.
Illinois: "Why'd you have to die Mom. You were so young... I can barely remember what you look like."
Sinclair: "Well, this is a new sensation. I haven't experienced this in so long.."
It was a birthday, and it was hers!
Sinclair: "This is actually quite exciting!"
Sinclair: "Okay actually that was a huge letdown."
Liberty was quite pregnant by this time. She had to go around and clean up after the maid.
Liberty: "Really! What are we paying him for?!"
She also took charge of Fern and her care.
Liberty: "Momma's little girl is getting so big! You are going to be a big sister soon!"
Fern: "Momma!"
The time came sooner than she thought. Apparently lifting a toddler when you are heavily pregnant isn't that good of an idea.
Liberty: "The baby is coming. GALAHAD CAR NOW!"
Fern: "Momma boring. Fern play blocks!"
Liberty said to take her car, but she was going to drive.
Galahad: "Um, honey?"
Liberty "Yes?"
Galahad: "May I ask why you have a police cruiser for your own personal vehicle? Aren't you in politics."
Liberty "Well, my boss Karst pulled a few strings and .. That isn't important. Must get to hospital!"
Since both parents wanted a girl, naturally they had a boy. His name is Eddie. He is a perceptive genius.
When he wasn't working at the hospital, Galahad gave Fern her first lesson on love.
Galahad: "Someday you will find that special someone, like I did with your Mother, and you will all of a sudden realize that being a player isn't as much as it's cracked up to be. I'm a changed man, and I was changed by your mother."
Fern: "Dah, Me sleepy!"
Illinois got a call from Haddy. Apparently she was not only pregnant, but she was in labor and panicking.
Illinois: "Hold on baby, I'm coming for you!"
Rather than take a cab, or ask to borrow Liberty's cruiser, she runs. The entire way.
Illinois: "I will be regretting these heels tomorrow!"
Haddy: "Mom you made it! Mark is working and can't get off and I can't do this by myself."
Illinois: "Don't worry, we can do this together. Now you go on in first."
Haddy went in and came out with a lovely baby girl. No surprise, she had Mark's skin tone.
Haddy: "Thanks Mom. I really appreciate all the emotional support you provided out here while I was in severe labor pain."
Illinois: "Almost finished with this chapter, hold on."
Despite not being her own grandchildren, Sinclair loved helping Liberty with the babies. They got along really well all things considered.
She took such good care of them, Galahad barely got any time with them.
Galahad: "I wish I could hold my children.."
Sinclair: "Would you dare deprive a poor, old woman of the only joy in her life which is holding and caring for sweet little babies? I might die tomorrow. Do you want me to die sad?"
Galahad: "Well, fine. Point taken."
Illinois had completed her lifetime want of learning all recipes and she had reached the top of her culinary career therefore making breakfast was always serious business.
Galahad finally got to hold his son, and Eddie was anything but pleased.
By this time, the CTD's had made me so angry I decided it was time to move into a new house. So off we go down the street to a new home.
We will see how long before I take that pool away from them.
To get things started, it was time for the first birthday of the house.
Oh, Mars. Your jaw..
Fern: "This is my excited face."
She has a good sense of humor, at least. And that piece of CC will be deleted as soon as I find it.
Fern: "Hi paper boy, Can we be friends? Is it okay if I call you paper boy?"
Paper Boy: "Ummmm.. I gotta go deliver papers, bye!"
Her first shot at a young romance: rejected.
Liberty decided to call up her sister Justice and see if she wanted to reconcile.
Justice: "If your husband is there, I will not be coming over. I can't stand the sight of him."
Liberty: "What? Would I want you around my husband? Of course he's at work."
Justice: "Here is my son. Aren't you jealous? Don't you wish you had one too?"
Liberty: "Well, actually... I do. Can you hold on just one second?"
Liberty had to take a quick moment to herself to feel the beginning of baby pains.
Illinois: "I know that sound. Girl, you're pregnant!"
Justice: "Oh my little darling son, he's just going to be the greatest human that ever graced Twinbrook. He's ambitious already. He'll be aiming for the stars. You just wait, he'll be twice as successful as anything that has your husbands genes."
Liberty: "You sure got full of yourself fast."
Justice: "I can't believe I am having to put my little man in such a filthy, unmanly crib. Poor little guy... It will just make him a better man in the end."
Liberty: "Justice, seriously. Get over it."
Liberty: "Instead of bitching all the time, have you ever thought about maybe smiling? I have noticed that lately you are so much more pleasant when you don't speak."
Justice: "Whatever Libbers. You don't know anything!"
She did know one thing at least, and that was baby number three was on the way!
Justice was just managing to make everyone angry. She even upset the very calm and understanding Sinclair. That was a feat in itself!
Sinclair: "I think it's about time you leave. Or, if you rather, we have a pool that you can try out. Sometimes that ladder disappears though..."
Liberty: "I'm so tired, I wonder what could be wrong with me."
Justice: "I care, why?"
Liberty: "Well I'll be! I just found out I'm pregnant with my third child! I wonder what it's like to just have one son."
Justice: "You didn't just imply what I think you implied."
Justice: "It's quality over quantity Libbers. You may have three, but they have bad genes. None of the poor kids stand a chance."
Liberty: "Ha, we'll see. If he exhibits any of your personality traits the poor thing is screwed for life."
Justice: "Oh please. I'm out of here."
And Justice, filled with rage, went on her way.
Rue and Eugene are the strangest pair of ghosts. They are more in love in death than they were in life.
Sinclair was back on birthday duty as it was Eddie's birthday.
Sinclair: "I really like it better this way. All the excitement with none of the aging."
Liberty appears to being doing a bit more than just cheering.
Galahad: "Not around the children! Save it for bed baby~~"
Liberty: "Mmm-hmm~ <3"
Eddie appears to have escaped the Mars jaw. He also has the Parvenu hair. <3
He even knows he's cute. This toddler is to be feared.
The day had finally come for Illinois as well. All of generation five had reached elder-hood.
Illinois: "Here goes nothing! Old age can't stop me!"
Illinois: "Nothing is happening..."
It took so long, everyone had already walked away by that point.
Libbers was the first one she managed to catch.
Illinois: "Thanks for staying for my birthday, really."
Liberty: "Mom, I'm pregnant?"
Illinois: "Pregnant?! Why, dear go sit down and take it easy. That is my grand-baby you have in there! I have some old books about babies around here somewhere.."
She knew the way to an old woman's forgiveness and she wasn't afraid to use it.
Liberty took her up on that offer and read as many pregnancy books as possible. Galahad was working on research for work. They decided to read in bed so they could at least be together.
Sinclair was out for a jog when she noticed Harmony by the water. She noticed a familiar looking bump..
Sinclair: "Is that bump what I think it is?"
Harmony: "Yup! Mars and I are having another baby!"
Sinclair: "Two grandchildren just for me! Gramma is going to love you so much!"
This lovely moment was soon interrupted by the notification that Liberty was in labor.
Galahad quickly left work ... which was at the hospital ... to get to the ... hospital.
Galahad: "PHEW, what if I got lost on the way from work?! I can't let Libbers go through this alone! I have the best baby name picked out too!"
While she was out of it, Galahad took it upon himself to name their new son Dempster. This is the face of a woman who just had her baby named Dempster.
Back at the beach, mother and daughter were sharing cooking tips when Jupiter and Shilah showed up and started playing together. Apparently, they were good friends as well as sister-in-laws.
They had a lot of fun for old women. Since Jupiter was good friends with Shilah, Karst had put her as head of the military.
Galahad had an assignment from work to meet 5 new people and persuade them that his hospital was the best hospital. I would hope considering it's the only one in town, but anyways... Out on the town he finds his lovely half-sister Pansy.
Galahad: "Hi Pansy. Whenever you are sick you should come to our hospital! It's the best in town.."
Pansy: "Do you work there?"
Galahad: "Well... yes."
Pansy: "Then why would I ever want to go there? I'd die before I'd let someone like you treat me."
Pansy did not like Galahad, apparently.
It was against his good nature, but he couldn't let this slide.
Galahad: "Pansy! How can you say that? I'm your brother and I love you! You should never refuse medical treatment. It could save your life!"
Pansy: "Save my life?! I'd rather die than live a life with you in it!"
.
Galahad: "I'm really sorry, but you are starting to make me really mad..."
Pansy: "Well you have made me beyond anger. I am filled with nothing but loathing for you and our Father."
Mars never paid much attention to Pansy. She was the love-child he had while married after-all.
Galahad: "You can hate me, but don't say anything ill about Dad."
Pansy: "I'm going to wipe that smug look right off your face.
Galahad: "Whatever Pansy. It pains me, but if you ever are sick you can just seek medical treatment elsewhere."
You might be wondering where Karst has been, but due to it being election time, his bodyguards have been keeping him in the house whenever he hasn't been at work.
Karst: "Help! Help! They won't let me go! This is repression! I will remember this when it comes time for your contract renewals! My sister called and said they have new babies, and I need to take photos with them!"
--------------------------------------------------
After moving to the new house, my CTD's have went down quite a bit, but I still get them from time to time. I am still mad/sad about Kristi. I wanted that woman to live until like generation 7 out of spite. :(
