Those of you who have received your owls, there is a slight amendment to your reading list for History of Magic ( Read more... )

Excuse me. Is there any way you could help me find a library?

I'm beginning to get a general inkling of things, but I don't remember any of the specifics. Something tells me those will be... important.

A library you say? Yes, I should be able to manage that quite easily.

I think I'm just going to hide behind books and knitting until everything stops being... quite so intimidating. Yes.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it.

My pleasure, always happy to help someone in need. I'm Professor Ashe by the way, if you need a fellow newcomer to help show you around.

...Yeah. I think we can officially say that this witchy thing? Is going to be totally awesome.

And witches. Plenty of spell slinging lasses during the Golden Age of Piracy.

What if there wasn't a reading list with your letter-owl?

Then you're either not a student, or I need to have a chat with your owl.

How old are students?

18 and under usually.

Allow me to put your mind at ease. I'm not nearly clever enough to come up with those titles, and I'm a pretty terrible liar to boot.

D&D has rules. I'm guessing this is a really spiffy internet ad for a new version of it?

If this were D&D I'd have put a great deal more points into my Will Save. Probably taken Iron Will. And I'm not sure viral marketing has reached amnesia levels quite yet.

Oh! My letter said nothing about being a student, but with that reading list alone, I wish I was...

Do you know if I be getting more info on when I should be getting myself to this school?

...and how I'm getting there?

Thank you, one of the joys of being a teacher is reading a number of excellent books.

There should be a briefing I'd imagine. If not I'll be giving you all a sit down myself.

By train I'd imagine. Platform 9 and 3/4.

Mmm, books. <3

Well, I'll keep my eyes peeled, as it were. That owl flew off again, so I can only imagine he's off collecting the post, if history is any indication.

Trains I am familiar with, fractions in platforms I am not, but that's probably the least strange thing, so far. Sounds like something worth exploring.

You're gonna get along here just fine.

They're very busy, Post Owls.

It's not as complex as it sounds, you just have to look between platform's 3 and 4.
