So today is my final day of work experience and I am currently sitting in the office doing receptionist work and answering the phones, except it has been really quiet since this morning and so I have been entertainnig myself by writing out things and reading '1984 by George Orwell'.

All in all I have had such an incredible week. I would love to stay

what do you think of 1984? I read it a couple years ago and i thought it was really interesting but i don't remember if i enjoyed it or not. scary stuff, huh?

yeah, he did! and he wasn't judgmental at all, didn't mention a thing about the content (ED stuff i mean) except to say that the fact that it was so personal made it more powerful. and this was after we had sort of a fight (not really, it was totally civil) because he told my mom she should read my story, because he thinks i'm good at creative writing, but he hadn't read it yet, and i got mad because i didn't know why he'd tell her to read something so personal. i thought he'd already read it. it was just a stupid misunderstanding and we both felt really bad about all of it afterward and now i think we're closer for it, anyway he emailed me his comments after we had that little argument and it made me feel lighter than air, i still do, and it makes me so much sadder about all this end-of-year crap
