I'm sorry. I'm looking at the entry and from my end it looks like the cut has taken. Can you post a link to whatever you're seeing that is showing no cuts, since obviously you're seeing something different?

Sorry to butt in, but I was passing by and I think I might know what's not working for the person who asked you to cut.

From what I'm seeing, you used a spoiler cut. Those don't show up for people on mobile devices for some mysterious reason to do with LJ being LJ. I believe LJ cuts do: change "lj-spoiler" to "lj-cut" in the opening and closing html, and it should show up as a cut for everyone. I think! I'm not a mobile device user myself, but I've heard a lot of people mention the spoiler cut issue.

Hope that helps, and welcome to LJ. I've found this

Thank you very much! The LJ suggestions seemed to imply that the "spoiler" cut would be more helpful to people; sjames_centre made it pretty clear that was not the case. I appreciate your help!

This was really moving; it was a pretty harsh view of Dean, but I didn't mind too much because we've been so locked out of Sam's head lately, and this let us in to devastating effect. So interesting that Crowley's the one with insight into Sam in this story!

Thank you!

Crowley is in a unique position with regards to Sam in that he's actually been in Sam's head, although he didn't spend a lot of time there. I think we've seen that Crowley "gets" Sam pretty well even without that perspective though - he knew exactly how to handle Sam in "The Devil You Know," for example. (He's got a good handle on both Winchesters, of course.) I'm sure at some point down the road he'll use his knowledge to his advantage.

I do admit that my view of Dean gets a little harsher with each passing episode of season 9... I keep telling myself that it will get better.
