Thank you for posting this, THANK YOU!! not all hurt!Sam is posted here so it's difficult to find everything out there, and to be honest I've been a little wary of looking for S8 fics because most seem Dean-centric.

Do you have any other S8 recs for Sam-obsessed fans like me? It would be great if you could share them with us!

This isn't Season 8 per say but it's right after the Season 7 finale that kind of runs off what the authors thinks would have happened and explains purgatory and what not.

And as chance would have it Marianna Morgan does indeed write it and it's an AMAZING take on Season 8 (kind of wish THIS would have happened in show) Darkest Before The Dawn

We're All Stories in the End by Starling Night
Summary: Sam's never needed to believe in monsters when they're pretty much his day job, but it comes as a bit of a shock to find that they've stopped believing in him. He wishes Dean were here. Pre-season 8.
It's post 7.23, so it's AU now, but it has that alone in the world, introspective Sam that I find so fascinating.

Something Pure by Callisto
Summary: Sam wakes up with no idea where he is. No fur or wet nose nuzzling his hand, no warm skin pressed to his, no scent of lavendar tickling his nose and making him fight a sneeze. Just empty space and the cold metal of a lamp his hand finds in the dark.
I like the brothers being brothers, despite the changes they've gone through in the missing year.

If He Be Worthy by monicawoe
Summary: Sam really enjoyed wielding Mjölnir.
Love the crossover with Thor and the symptoms Sam's experiencing. Fun story.
