He bashed his head against the kennel door, then circled in place, snapping at the air and whining

I loved this! The outsider-POV was fantastic, and you really got the sense of what Sam was going through. It was very sad, a little creepy, and the ending made me shudder for Molly and happy for Dean and Sam.
Oh god this hurt so good. I have no words for the feelings this gave me. Muzzled and self-mutilating Sam, poor sweetie. Thank you for a wonderful fill!

Great POV, broke my heart. You clearly have spent a hell of a lot of time working and suffering at animal shelters. I'll never forget the first time I looked into a pen and saw blood spattered over the walls, and the dog's tail torn to hell. Horrific.
