Funny story...but I was thinking about something exactly like this. I don't think I have time to do it myself, (plus my lappy is on the fritz) but I totally second the idea. They never have the H/C to it's full potential on the show. I'll eeing be watching to see if someone takes this idea!
Ah, great minds think alike. I agree with you on the lack of canon follow-up to Sam injuries, but I love when fans write the missing story. I'd love to read your take on this, but totally understand the busy life getting in the way. I'll take a raincheck, and hope you'll write a missing scene h/c fic from the series in the hiatus, when we all need it most. :-)
Is that what he did? Oh thank you, I've been wondering. That part was so dark and so fast, and the camera action only stayed on Sam for a split second, so I really had no idea what happened before Dean shot the key.
I had trouble understanding what happened, too. However, I've got a Pavlovian response to hurt!Sam by now, so as soon as I heard the sounds of pain, I knew something was happening and had.to rewind. Once or ttwice to figure it out, and then a few more to enjoy the angst. ;-)
The big problem is deciding which episode to write a tag for. Top of my list are plucky pennywhistle's, slash fiction and adventures in babysitting. And now I've added of grave importance. It's hard to decide which to do first. I should have lots more time this summer so hopefully my laptop will cooperate.
Well, you know I want 'em all. ;-) I say, decide what to write at the time you are going to write and go with whatever your mood tells you at the time. It makes it easier to write.
