I can't comment on dreamwidth so here was my attempted comment :)

Wow - Sam woke up! Poor Dean - he does have a lot to work through, they both do but it was nice to see in between the fractures in this chapter and to see glimpses of the brotherhood that is still there - beyond everything.

Don't give up hope in Sam, Dean! And vice versa.

Yeah, they still have a lot to wrok through. I's gonna take time because other stuff happens in between. In fact, I only just wrote the very important "confronting their issues" scene - it's about 30,000 words from here. (This fic is just too damn wordy.)

Thank you for reading!

Oh my, you did forewarn that we wouldn't like what Dean did to try to end Sam's suffering. This....ah! Dean how could you!?!? At least now Dean knows the full weight of his action and choice and Sam (as in the show) always ALWAYS pay the heavy price for the screw up of others. I'm so glad that everybody, Dean, Sam, Castiel, and Gabriel, are together and Sam is no longer alone, his burden is no longer his alone. And Dean has sooooo much to make up for everything. I can't wait to see how this story progress, you create this incredible AU world that is very convincing and very easy to get lost in.

Dean has a heavy burden to carry, I agree. It's hard to write, actually, because how do you deal with something like that?

Yeah, Sam is just fucked by destiny in general. It pretty much sucks to be him.

Thanks for the comment!
