This gives everyone time to write and prompt to their heart's content, and allows us mods to keep up with y'all. And we're starting right now!

Sam comes out to Dean, and Dean is fine with it. Sam keeps waiting for the other shoe to drop. Dean finally figures it out and reassures him. Preferably not Sam/Dean, though indications of future Sam/Dean would be great.

I actually wrote something like this for the last comment-fic meme, from Dean's POV, where he's confused and bewildered but trying to be OK with it anyway. Would you care to read it?

Gen or wincest ( whatever floats your boat), what if when the boys walk into the trap Meg lays in the episode shadow for John, Sam gets hurt far worse than in canon. Cue a downward spiral of events full of angst and hurt comfort! And of course, big brother, protective dean! :D

That should go without saying; if it was anyone's fault it was Dean's--for hesitating, for not being fast enough--but Sam's had some pretty fucked up ideas about what he's responsible for for a while now, and it's only gotten worse since the wall fell. Dean figures it's best to make sure they're both on the same page ( ... )
