WHY ARE THERE SO MANY GOOD PROMPTS. (de_nugis you are BREAKING ME.) And now I'm going to add one to the list. And probably go write some of them.
So the boys have just gotten back together after taking a break, and they're already arguing with each other, or really, Dean's arguing with Sam while Sam's attempting to not argue but still getting pissed off at Dean. Then Dean throws down the trump card: that Castiel was the one who saved Dean, not Sam. Sam was obviously too busy screwing Ruby. So Dean goes to grab a drink, and Sam obviously thinks this whole getting back together thing? Not gonna work, because it's clear Dean still hates and resents him, and why shouldn't he? So he packs up his things, leaves his key for the motel room at the front desk, and goes. Dean comes back to the room feeling like an ass, then realizes Sam's not there. Cue panic until he finds the front desk clerk, who tells him where Sam's gone. Bus station, motel on the other side of town, I don't care. But I want Sam all torn up inside about what he counts
