Oh Dean - we know how much you secretly love those chick flick moments!

Poor boys - Sam so sure that this is all just an elaborate means of torture, and Dean so desperate to convince him otherwise. I suppose it must be so much worse for Dean to think of Sam in hell because he himself knows what really goes on there.

I loved how you included little flashes of humour in amidst the angst - it helped to make the sad bits even more punchy (and is just so true of our boys!).

That's always what I thought? Like, it sucks either way, and sometimes imagination is worse than reality, but in this case...probably really not.

Aw, loved it. Poor Sam - that's an awful place to be kicked in by a concussion.

As you know, I just love Dean being protective and awesome. And freaked out by Sam's hell stories.

Thank you! This one was actually - fun to write. And sometimes I worry about my writing of Dean so I'm glad you liked him here. Protective and awesome Dean is the best kind, clearly.

This is wonderful and amazing and so much better than I had pictured when I wrote the prompt! :)

And please leave it as is and don't bring it up to the events in canon, it's magical and just perfect!

Thank you so much! It was a charming prompt (in a hurt!Sam sort of way, you know what I mean) and I'm glad it was a good fill for you - and yeah, I'll probably leave it just as it is. Mostly because I'm a lazy ass with too many writing ideas already...

But I'm glad that it works the way it is outside of canon too.
