It probably wouldn't be the smoothest career move, but I love the idea of Cate Blanchett and David Tennant singing in a craptacular Madonna movie.

i can't really believe this rumour at all, since david tennant can't sing. i heard him in blackpool. it wasn't good. it wasn't mind-bendingly awful, but he's got absolutely no force behind his voice, so there's not a lot to work with there.

I heard him sing live in LLL, and would agree that he lacks force behind his voice. He's got enthusiasm and can stay on key, but he'd never make it on Broadway.

he's got a voice you could sort of do something with on film if you had to, but why would someone do that when there are plenty of accomplished singers around?

i'd also like to think he wouldn't play a fascist sympathiser if the role was even a semi-"heroic" one.
