eta: also twilight for Michael Welch because I had just recently watched Joan of Arcadia and Luke Girardi was my favorite.

I've seen pretty much all of Rory Culkin's movies. I feel like I should be reimbursed somehow for sitting through "Twelve."

What movies have you seen strictly for one of your faves?

I watched Southland Tales because The Rock was in it, luckily I loved that complete mess of a movie unlike most other people.

i don't tend to watch movies that i think will be bad just for my faves, but i will complain about victor frankenstein every chance i get because I WAS ROOTING FOR IT. why even call it frankenstein when it clearly wanted nothing to do with the book or previous movies?

i just ranted about it in a post like two days ago so i'm going to sound like i'm beating a dead horse, but yes. james mcavoy (my fave) spits everywhere and is easily the worst part of the movie. it starts off trying to go for this rdj sherlock holmes style thing where victor calculates things quickly in his mind, then it completely ditches that for the next hour of the movie and only picks it up again in two other scenes, which is a poor editing/stylistic thing. some of the visuals are nice, but the cgi backgrounds are too much. the writing is atrocious. honestly, it's just boring. like there's a subplot in the beginning that igor is from the circus and it's a Very Big Deal and that is not ever brought up again for the rest of the film other than the recurring cardboard cutout love interest.

i haaate it. it's not even so bad it's fun or funny. it's not a fun bro-ish action movie. it's just a waste of time.
