I missed what happened with Lucy's dad - couldn't catch what the madam said, so if anyone can help a person with bad hearing out that would be great.
Gallinger is pure scum, but his wife seriously needs to be put away (I need to look up the protocols for insanity pleas in the 1900s, because she needs to be institutionalized even though that asshole doctor deserved it.) He constantly thinks he's above the law, in medicine, his wife's actions, etc. It's such a great and essential characterization for this show and time but I hope he's destroyed for it at some point.
I love that both Neely and Algie are doing their investigations. I'm a fan of Opal but I will always love their dynamic so this mirroring is sweet for me. Even though they're uncovering dark shit.
So sad about Abbey. Really loved her and Thack. I am glad it didn't happen while he was operating, just storytelling wise I find this much more interesting.
Absolutely adoring the Cleary/Harry roommates etc situation. Hope it doesn't all go to hell.
