Im tired of Doctors leaving after 3 seasons and companions after 2 1/2. Change it up.

i mean, they leave by their choice. if they stay longer than that anyway it'll end up like tom baker, whose last few seasons were pretty meh.

Of course but I hate knowing "well I have 3 seasons with this person and 2 with this person". It is bittersweet depending on the actor.

I know that he's directing a few episodes (two, I think) but no one's confirmed if he'll actually cameo. Obviously I'm hopeful. I mean, him and Hugh Laurie possibly in a scene together? I need it.
