mte. and though i really love it, S1 was rather mediocre too in terms of script, but that was camouflaged by the A+ performances and the flawless cinematography / setting. and god knows Rust had a fair share of cringey af lines, but MM was able to carry it with his acting + the fact that only one character talked that way / had a 'peculiar' personality (as opposed to pretty much the entire cast in S2, lol).

I finally watched season two a few weeks ago. All this time, I managed to avoid anything about the show, from spoilers to reviews. If I had read just one review. I had no idea it was a shitfest. Lesson learned.
