The title of the movie feels a bit bland to me, but I'm interested to see it. The cast is great, and Mulligan hasn't had a "big" awards contender role since her initial breakout (though there's been a few critical favourite parts that never quite got there). The Edwardian period is a really interesting time in social and political history.
I'm all for women-centered films, so I'll definitely watch this. Can't say I'm excited about it, Carey hasn't impressed me much so far (I'm always ready to be proved wrong tho)
It comes out in the US the day I take my comprehensive exams for my PhD so I think I'll go and see it as a reward for passing or a consolation for failing. I love that it is written, produced, and directed by women and if it does well maybe (haha!) it can spur even more movies to be made. Wish it was more diverse though.

They should make a movie about Ida B Wells and the shit she had to go through within the US Suffrage Movement.
