ITA. I was definitely worried after he did that Mortal Instruments shit that he would ultimately not get the appreciation he deserves or get to really break out and do good shit. So I'm really glad that Poldark isn't even remotely a flop. I bet this will open a lot of doors for him. In fact, in the interview from the magazine OP posted, Aidan was asked how his life has changed after the success of Poldark and he said he finally feels like he's actually in a position to be choosy so that's awesome.
And I'm so proud tbh because I still remember my personal Aidan Jesus Moment®, sitting in the theater casually watching the Hobbit, and then it gets to that scene where Kili & Fili are behind the door and my jaw literally IRL dropped and I was like O_O ...like I could tell, even with that whole dwarf get-up, that I was in a DEFCON5 situation and then I went home and looked him up at the rest was history. And now look how far he's come! ~the scythe that changed the world~
Oh indeed. And Eleanor is cuter than a basket of kittens and I love them both (though not necessarily together).
Truthfully, I'm mostly jealous and bitter that Poldark was a huge smash success and The Musketeers continues to be largely irrelevant. And you have FOUR hot dudes instead of just one.
