Labour party leader Ed Miliband joined Russell Brand at his home to discuss issues such as the importance of voting (Russell prefers political revolution), NHS, inequality and the banking system. Russell is very keen on limiting the influence of Rupert Murdoch and HSBC on a free press.

The #milifandom is the best thing about this election, well after Nicola, Natalie and Leanne.

From Russell:
"The reason I have never voted in my life is that I think it does not matter. We all got excited by Tony Blair, we all got excited by Barack Obama and what happened."

I will never agree with this thought process.

What happened, Russell? Universal healthcare happened! A UK minimum wage happened! LGBT rights happened!

People who say politics doesn't change anything are wilfully blind

It makes me so angry when people say this

It's such lazy thinking. I rolled my eyes when Russell acted like politics hasn't achieved anything for ordinary people. The NHS and the minimum wage didn't float down from the heavens.
