also, someone else who worked on his campaign told me that apparently some people in the tea party hated renee elmers because she wasn't batshit enough for them, so they actually voted for clay. talk about cutting off their noses to spite their faces...

anyway, i watched his debate b/c i'm in NC and it ran locally. he wasn't in my district so i didn't have to bother thinking about voting for him, but i guess i would have because i refuse to vote republican. anyway, he didn't too badly in the debate.
