Alkaline Trio recently did a short run playing all 8 of their albums over 4 nights in a row in 3 different cities. The last Chicago show at The Metro streamed live, here's the video.

Unfortunately you can totally see me here, but holy shit, was it a blast. Did anyone else go to these?

I have seen them a few times and I'm always underwhelmed. I love them but they're boring live. So many of my friends are obsessed with them and go to every show they play when they come here. I'm just always confused about it. I saw them with New Found Glory last year and NFG blew them away, lol.

And they all sold out in like 3 minutes so getting them in the first place was the most nerve wrecking ordeal.

Well, you never know. I managed to snag a ticket to all 4 even though it took having about 9 tabs open. I think it was just a matter of getting there the second they went up.

Even if I don't lie the newest stuff whenever I see them live or listen to them when I haven't in awhile I just feel so happy. Never going to regret my tattoo because they were part of my high school life. Sad i missed these shows all my friends went but I don't live in Cali anymore

This is my friend's favorite band and she lives in Brooklyn, so she went to all four shows in Williamsburg this week. Super awesome.

A lot of my friends live in Brooklyn and kept posting about going to all four shows. I didn't realize this is what the shows were, pretty cool. I'm kind of over seeing them bc everytime I'm disappointed, but this may have been worth it.
