I'm not sure I'm ready to have my world rocked by reading everything I'm pronouncing wrong in my head.

Although I already know Saoirse isn't "Say-oh-rise" like I always read it in my head. It doesn't even make phonetic sense, I don't know how I ended up reading it that way.

I like how they are spelled but not often how they are pronounced. I think the name Siobhan is so pretty, but it's pronounced Shuh-VON, which is like so 1980s permed hair blue eyeshadow.

Same with Saoirse, although "seer-sha" isn't all that bad.

Yeah, pretty Celtic Twilight magickal name of many letters turns out to be guttural and short, sorry 'bout that.

I often wonder how people think these names are pronounced. See oh ban? Say or see? Not pretty.

Though I admit Dee Oh Dree sounds prettier than Durdruh.
